While Licking's win against Mountain Grove wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Panthers on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Licking's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Mountain Grove, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Licking will head out to face off against Stoutland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain Grove, they will face off against Ava at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
