Softball Recap: Uvalde Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Uvalde can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the La Vernia Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Uvalde's loss dropped their record down to 13-17-1. As for La Vernia, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Uvalde nor La Vernia have any future games scheduled.
