Basketball Recap: St. Anthony Village Takes a Loss

St. Anthony Village was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 88-78 to the Richfield Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 88-79 last Friday.

St. Anthony Village now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Richfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Anthony Village will take on St. Croix Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richfield, they will square off against Minneapolis South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
