NCSSM: Durham's game back in September was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Voyager Academy Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win. The Unicorns haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant NCSSM: Durham was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Ella Farr and Leira Smith, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Chloe Harnphanich and her 18 assists. Tess Crumpton controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

NCSSM: Durham's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Voyager Academy, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-11.

Looking ahead, NCSSM: Durham will challenge Research Triangle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Voyager Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
