Volleyball Recap: Pitman Find Success

Pitman won the last time they faced Sanger and things went their way on Friday too. The Pride skirted past the Apaches 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pride.

Pitman had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Pitman found their leader in sophomore Jahnvi Dhillon, who had 17 digs and one assist.

Pitman's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Sanger, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-5 record.

Pitman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Arroyo Grande on the 12th. As for Sanger, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Madera at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
