Basketball Recap: Kaden Bradley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bradford Prep over Covenant Day

On Friday, the Bradford Prep Bears ended up a good deal behind the Covenant Day Lions and lost 68-50. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Lions are ranked 68th).

Bradford Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaden Bradley, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Hanson, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Covenant Day to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chris Rivens, who went 6 of 10 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyree White, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven assists and six boards.

Bradford Prep dropped their record down to 7-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Covenant Day, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Bradford Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-68 loss against Christ the King on the 7th. As for Covenant Day, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-46 defeat against Providence Day on the 7th.
