Elsinore had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the West Valley Mustangs with a sharp 11-1 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Elsinore got a great performance from Brayden Stankus as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Andrew Jimenez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jovan Huerta, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Elsinore always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .593. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Elsinore's record now sits at 11-6. As for West Valley, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Elsinore beat the Mustangs by a score of 8-4 on Friday.
