West Mesquite had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 41-point drubbing they dealt Turner on Thursday. The Wranglers blew past the Lions 65-24. The win was just business as usual for the Wranglers, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Turner's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Matthew Stone, who posted ten points, and Austin Castro, who scored six points.

West Mesquite's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Turner, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
