Hartford had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Marcellus Wildcats a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 two weeks ago.

Hartford pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. Marcellus will be up against Lawton's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.57 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
