Softball Recap: Wapato Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Wapato's offense. They came up short against the Naches Valley Rangers on Friday, falling 11-0. The Wolves have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Miranda Juarez spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and seven unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks.

Wapato's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Naches Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rangers beat Wapato by a score of 20-2 later that day.
