Basketball Recap: Marion Drops Highest Score of Season Against East Rochester

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 35th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the East Rochester Bombers, falling 66-41. One positive for the Black Knights, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for East Rochester, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will head out to challenge Sodus at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marion has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for East Rochester, they will challenge North Rose-Wolcott at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
