Basketball Recap: Brainerd Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brainerd's game on Tuesday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 54-46 to the East Ridge Pioneers. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Jerrion Ware was Brainerd's leading scorer, having posted two points. Ware also led the team in assists with two.

Jarrion Tate was the offensive standout of the matchup as he shot 50% from the field to rack up 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Brainerd's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for East Ridge, their record is now 4-6.

Coming up, Brainerd will head out to take on Howard Tech at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Ridge will take on Corvian Community in a holiday battle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers will be up against the Cardinals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 68.86 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
