The Amador Buffaloes will take on the Bear River Bruins at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Amador comes in on six and Bear River on four.
Amador is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Bret Harte with a sharp 14-4 win. Considering the Buffaloes have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brad Blankenheim and Sam Baker did most of the damage at the plate: Blankenheim got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Baker went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Baker has posted since back in March.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Amador kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Bear River got themselves on the board against Hilmar on Friday, but Hilmar never followed suit. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Yellowjackets 2-0.
Not much got past Kaden Nicholls, who gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks to keep Hilmar off the board. Nicholls has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bear River's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Karter Scott, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Bear River's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Amador, their win bumped their record up to 22-5-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Amador has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bear River struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
