Volleyball Recap: Berwyn/Cicero Morton Comes Up Short

Berwyn/Cicero Morton lost against Downers Grove South back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Berwyn/Cicero Morton took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Downers Grove South. Berwyn/Cicero Morton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19.

Berwyn/Cicero Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Downers Grove South, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-18 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will host Downers Grove North at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Downers Grove South, they will welcome Naperville Central at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
