Volleyball Recap: Lee Vining Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Lee Vining had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Mojave Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lee Vining to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ember Elits, who had 13 assists and two aces. Elits is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Elits wasn't the only good servers: Lee Vining was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in nine consecutive contests.

Lee Vining's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Mojave, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15-1.

As of now, neither Lee Vining nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
