Baseball Recap: Lower Lake Comes Up Short

Lower Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Clear Lake Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Friday.

Lower Lake saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zach Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Lower Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Clear Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Lower Lake nor Clear Lake have any future games scheduled.
