Football Recap: Belvidere North Comes Up Short

Belvidere North was the 18-6 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Thunder and the J-Hawks were almost perfectly matched up on Wednesday, but the Blue Thunder suffered a 19-18 loss. The Blue Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belvidere North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
