Basketball Recap: MOT Charter Comes Up Short

MOT Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 47-29 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

MOT Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

MOT Charter will challenge First State Military Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. MOT Charter is facing First State Military Academy at the right time seeing as First State Military Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Odyssey Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
