Soccer Recap: Cheboygan Takes a Loss

If Cheboygan was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Grayling on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs came up short against the Alpena Wildcats on Saturday, falling 5-0. Cheboygan haven't had much luck with Alpena recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cheboygan's loss dropped their record down to 2-4-3. As for Alpena, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheboygan will square off against Elk Rapids at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Alpena, they will face off against Petoskey at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
