Softball Recap: Texas Wind vs. Meridian Yellowjackets
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tolar, Texas Wind was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Meridian Yellowjackets with a sharp 22-5 win. That's more bragging rights for Texas Wind, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Anna Cessnum and Madelyne Morgan did most of the damage at the plate: Cessnum scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Morgan scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
