Basketball Recap: Sandy Spring Friends Skates Past Field with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sandy Spring Friends). They breezed by the Field Falcons to the tune of 58-12 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Sandy Spring Friends pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.3 points per game. As for Field, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Sandy Spring Friends will be home for the holidays to greet Spencerville Adventist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 16th. As for Field, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-11 defeat against Washington International on the 9th.
