Softball Recap: Dimond Comes Up Short

Dimond was the 9-8 winner over Bettye Davis East Anchorage when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Lynx fell 5-1 to the Thunderbirds on Thursday. The Lynx have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aubree Ogee spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five runs (all of which were unearned) on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

Dimond's record now sits at 6-4. As for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
