It was a good run, but the Linn Wildcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Tipton on the road and fell 63-25. Linn was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-12.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Paige Senevey, who scored four points.
Tipton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Schlotzhauer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Schlotzhauer has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 18 times she's played.
