Volleyball Recap: Independent Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

Independent Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Granite Baptist Academy Guardians, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Guardians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-8.

Independent Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Granite Baptist Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Independent Baptist Academy will square off against rival Bayview Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Granite Baptist Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Calvary Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
