Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Kilties vs. Classical Purple
Mt. Pleasant is still looking for their season's first win. They lost 17-3 to the Classical Purple on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Mt. Pleasant has lost by exactly 14 runs.
For Classical's part, Maria Ramos and Vivian Hoffman did most of the damage at the plate: Ramos got three hits, while Hoffman got two hits. Aryanna Santana was another key contributor, getting two hits.
Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9-1. As for Classical, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-2.
Mt. Pleasant will head out on the road to challenge Times Squared Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Times Squared Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Mt. Pleasant surely won't give up without a fight. Classical does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
