Soccer Game Preview: River Ridge vs. Capital

The River Ridge Hawks will face off against the Capital Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Capital will have to contend with a River Ridge squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen yet this season. Neither River Ridge nor Peninsula could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Capital played to a draw too, finishing 1-1 against Lakes.

Capital's goal came courtesy of Tanner Fricke, which was the first he's scored this season.

Capital's draw makes their record 2-2-2 this season. As for River Ridge, they moved theirs to 0-2-3.
