Calallen has gone a perfect 8-0 against King recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Calallen will head out on the road to face off against King at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Calallen has 19 straight wins, King has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Calallen's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over Tuloso-Midway.

Not much got past Drayton Mitchell, who gave up just seven hits to keep Tuloso-Midway off the board. What's more, Mitchell posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in June of 2024.
At the plate, Wyatt Duke was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Drayson Gamez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
Duke wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Calallen lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, King came up short against Robstown on Friday, falling 10-4.
King saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eric Cason, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Calallen's win was their 27th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 0-16-1.
King's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Calallen has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .500. It's a different story for King, though, as they've only averaged .315. Will they be able to contain Calallen's hitters?
Calallen took their win against King when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-0. Will Calallen repeat their success, or does King has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
