Volleyball Recap: Grand Forks Central Comes Up Short on the Road Against East Grand Forks

Grand Forks Central kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Grand Forks Green Wave. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20.

East Grand Forks' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Grand Forks Central will venture away from home to square off against Red River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Grand Forks, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Kittson Central/Lancaster on the 4th.
