Saranac had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Northeastern Clinton Cougars on Thursday as the Saranac Spartans made off with a 49-29 win. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Saranac has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points over those games. Northeastern Clinton moved to 9-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Saranac nor Northeastern Clinton have any future games scheduled.
