Softball Recap: James Island Comes Up Short

James Island was the 3-0 winner over May River when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The James Island Trojans lost 14-2 to the May River Sharks on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Island saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rachel Manchester, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

James Island now has a losing record of 1-2. As for May River, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, James Island will host Stratford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for May River, they are taking a road trip to take on Bishop England at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
