Basketball Recap: Richardton-Taylor Takes a Loss

After flying high against Beach last Monday, Richardton-Taylor came back down to earth. The Richardton-Taylor Raiders fell just short of the Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils by a score of 49-46 on Friday. The Raiders were probably out for revenge after losing 51-35 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

With the loss, Richardton-Taylor broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2. As for Hettinger/Scranton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Richardton-Taylor will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Napoleon at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Hettinger/Scranton, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Killdeer at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Killdeer will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hettinger/Scranton surely won't give up without a fight.
