Payton Rice gave up the fewest hits she has since back in April of 2024 on Monday. She was unstoppable, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Rice and East Carter will take on Morgan County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
