Buchtel is a perfect 10-0 against North since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Griffins will be playing at home against the Vikings at 12:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Buchtel is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering East just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 12-8 to the Dragons.

Buchtel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Daurean Johnson and Dwight Shade.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for North's offense. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of Firestone. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Buchtel's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-6. As for North, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything came up roses for Buchtel against North when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 36-0 victory. Will the Griffins repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
