Baseball Recap: Brentwood Academy Takes a Loss

Brentwood Academy lost against Lipscomb Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell 9-4 to the Mustangs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landon McGill made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. Those hits marked the first that he got this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keaton Uggla, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Brentwood Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Lipscomb Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

While Brentwood Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
