Volleyball Recap: Desert Chapel Find Success

Desert Chapel hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost five straight ) but thanks in part to Tori Brown that streak is no more. The Eagles put the hurt on the Palm Valley FIREBIRDS with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday for which the team can thank Brown, who had nine aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 aces per game.

Desert Chapel walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-8.

Desert Chapel's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Palm Valley, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
