Olympia won the last time they faced Tumwater, and Alice Fischer did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bears put the hurt on the Thunderbirds with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday with plenty of help from Fischer, who had 37 assists and six digs. She has been hot, having posted 22 or more assists the last eight times she's played.

Olympia not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Tumwater between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.

Olympia has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, Tumwater fell to 5-1-1.

Olympia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Rogers on the 22nd. As for Tumwater, they will face off against Curtis at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
