Volleyball Recap: Ryan Takes a Loss

Ryan's tournament run continued when they took on Wylie on Saturday. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10.

Evangeline Trahan paced Ryan's offense, picking up eight kills. Trahan got some help from Emery Hodge and her nine assists.

Ryan's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Wylie, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Ryan will venture away from home to challenge Sanger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wylie, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Midland Legacy on the 23rd.
