On Wednesday Niko London tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs London has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his sixth in a row with less than two hits. On the season, he has an ERA of 1.70 over 12.3 innings pitched.

Even though London couldn't lead Redondo Union over Palos Verdes, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Sea Hawks have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
