Baseball Recap: Normangee Falls Short of Hemphill in the Playoffs

Normangee and Hemphill squared off in some playoff action on Sunday, but Normangee had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 6-3 to the Hornets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Normangee's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Hemphill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-15.

While Normangee had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
