Basketball Recap: Ben Lippen Comes Up Short

Ben Lippen lost against Augusta Christian back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ben Lippen Falcons took a 37-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Augusta Christian Lions. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Augusta Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kennedy Cooper led the charge by putting up nine points. Another player making a difference was Avery Schwarz, who posted seven points.

Ben Lippen's defeat dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Augusta Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-13.

Ben Lippen will challenge Hammond at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Augusta Christian, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Augusta Christian Lions take on the Cardinal Newman Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
