Soccer Recap: Delano Victorious

Delano kept a clean sheet against Shafter on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Shafter Generals. Lionel Madrigal had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Tigers.

Delano now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Shafter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6-1.

Delano will host Wasco at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Delano's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Shafter, they will head out to challenge Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
