Sealy came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the La Marque Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-1 last Tuesday.

Blaine Fink made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Fink was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jackson Blanks, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Hagen Anderson, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Sealy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for La Marque, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Coming up, Sealy will be playing in front of their home fans against Almeta Crawford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for La Marque, they will venture away from home to square off against Royal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
