Recap: Bruce Trojans vs. Eupora Eagles
After only two points in their last contest, the Bruce Trojans made sure to put some points up on the board against the Eupora Eagles on Tuesday. Bruce took down Eupora 55-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Bruce.
A'toria Knox was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Laken Corbitt, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds.
Bruce's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8. As for Eupora, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bruce will square off against Vardaman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eupora, they will head out on the road to face off against Ethel at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
