The Explorers secured its victory by scoring 14 points in the fourth quarter to push the final margin to 24.
Whitmer's lone touchdown came on an 87-yard kick return by
Marcus Elliott in the fourth quarter.
Hudson had given up an average of 14.4 points prior to the contest.
HHS avenged last year's 39-28 loss to the Panthers with the victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Whitmer, which notched a 83-28 victory over Lima Senior in its previous outing. The loss ended Whitmer's three-game winning streak.
