T.W. Andrews won against Thomasville last Friday with 18 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Red Raiders snuck past the North Forsyth Vikings with an 18-14 win. For the Red Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 27-0 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Cayden Zellous threw for 153 yards and one touchdown. David Hill was his top target, picking up 97 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Von Martin rushed for 110 yards on only 13 carries.

North Forsyth's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clyde Neeley, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one TD. Another signal caller making a difference was Cyncere Goff, who threw for 202 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

T.W. Andrews has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 24 points this season. As for North Forsyth, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

T.W. Andrews wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-6 victory against Ragsdale on the 5th. As for North Forsyth, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-0 loss against Carver on the 5th.
