Volleyball Game Preview: Bridges Prep Buccaneers vs. Hilton Head Island Seahawks

Bridges Prep is 0-3 against Hilton Head Island since September of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Buccaneers are taking a road trip to take on the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Bridges Prep didn't have quite enough to beat May River and fell 3-2.

Bridges Prep started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-27, 25-16, 25-20, 22-20.

Hilton Head Island not only won last Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over May River. The game was the first time the Seahawks have beaten the Sharks on their court since October 6, 2022.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-21.

Hilton Head Island's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Bridges Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
