Hermann is 8-2 against South Callaway since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hermann has four straight victories, South Callaway has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Two weeks ago, the stars were shining brightly for Hermann in a 57-43 win over Southern Boone. Given the Bearcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Eagles are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, South Callaway was beaten by Strafford 81-45 last Saturday.

Hermann pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for South Callaway, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Hermann was able to grind out a solid win over South Callaway in their previous meeting back in February, winning 48-41. Will Hermann repeat their success, or does South Callaway have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
