Volleyball Recap: Centerburg Beats Cardington-Lincoln for Their Fourth Straight Win

Centerburg had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates 3-0. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Centerburg was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-7, 25-9.

Jazmyn Larimore paced Centerburg's offense, picking up eight kills. Larimore got some help from Jaelynn Caldwell and her 22 assists. Caldwell also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Zoe Evans, racking up four apiece.

Centerburg's record is now 4-1. As for Cardington-Lincoln, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Centerburg has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Mt. Gilead on the 28th. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they will square off against Danville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
