Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Duy Doan and Mark Wert Lead Westville to Victory

Westville saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Northridge Raiders by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blackhawks.

Westville was led to victory by Mark Wert and Duy Doan. Wert had 11 digs, while Doan had seven digs. Those seven digs gave Doan a new career-high.

Westville's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Northridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Westville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Valparaiso on the 26th. As for Northridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against South Bend Saint Joseph on the 26th.
