It was a good run, but Mendota unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They and the Coalinga Horned Toads finished up their game with a 3-3 draw. The result kept the Aztecs happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 23, 2024.

Wilberto Amador and Erlin Gomez scored all three of Mendota's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 33 goals.

Mendota's draw gives them a new season record of 12-3-3. As for Coalinga, they moved theirs to 9-9-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mendota will host Avenal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mendota's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Coalinga, they will welcome Tranquillity at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coalinga is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
